The company that made a name for itself with its happy earth clothes for kids is expanding its offerings.
Happy Earth, which was founded in 2014, has announced plans to open a store in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, the first of its kind in the state.
The store, which will be located at the former Ballard Center, will feature apparel, toys and other toys and games for kids, according to a news release.
Happy will begin selling the products in late October, said spokesperson Jessica Clements in an email.
The company has partnered with Amazon and other retailers to create the stores, and the stores will include a wide range of items, including toys, accessories, games and other games, Clements said.
Happy is also opening a brick and mortar location in Portland, Ore., with a plan to expand the store into other U.S. cities in the future, according the release.
It plans to have a full-line store by the end of 2018, and it has already purchased two locations in California.
The company’s products include HappyEarth, Happy Earth Kids, HappyEarth Kids Fun and Happy Earth, Happy Life, Happy Nature, Happy Living and Happy Kids, according its website.
The Happy Earth store is located at 4221 E. Pike St. in Ballard, the company said.
