Greek fashion designer Domenico Bortolato has chosen the name of Greek goddess of wine, Gaea, for his new clothing line.
The product, which will be launched in August, features a line of stylish jackets, dresses, skirts, jackets and trousers.
“Gaea is one of the most revered gods in ancient Greek mythology, and she is the one who gives birth to wine,” Bortolo said in a statement.
He explained the inspiration for the name: “It’s a word that is very familiar to us, and it means ‘wine’ in Greek.
This word is the Greek word for ‘wine’, and is also used in many other languages, such as Turkish, Latin, and Arabic.”
Gaea also inspires the goddess of love, Venus, as the product’s logo shows.
Bortolo told local news site the Greek-language news website Kathimerini he was inspired by the goddesses in Greek mythology for the inspiration.
In addition to the jacket, the line includes pants and skirts.
Bortoli’s design team, including the sculptor Giorgos Pappas, is also the creator of a new line of women’s and men’s clothing.
The new line, which Bortoli plans to launch in August at a special price, will have different materials, colors and patterns, and features more sophisticated cuts, including a more tailored fit.
The new lines, which are called “Culture and Crafts,” are set to launch this summer.
