With the new Steelers and the end of the World Series, the Steelers Hall of Famer’s story was beginning to take shape.
Now, a little over two years after the team won its second Super Bowl title, the team will once again take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field on Sunday.
The Hall of Famers have been inducted into the Hall of Honor twice before, in 2004 and 2008, but this is the first time that a pair of Hall of Legends will be inducted, as they have become the only three to win Super Bowls together.
The Steelers will host the Philadelphia Eagles in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, with the first game being a preseason game against the Denver Broncos.
The Eagles and Steelers will play two preseason games each, with both coming on the heels of the first preseason game between the Steelers and Indianapolis Colts.
The Steelers and Eagles will meet again in the regular season finale.
The first game will take place on Friday, September 5, when the Steelers face the Philadelphia 76ers.
The second game will be played on Sunday morning, September 10, when it’s the Philadelphia 49ers against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
