Liquidators has signed a partnership with Barbell, it has been announced.
Barbell announced the deal, which will see Barbell’s iconic PowerBar brand continue to sell its popular PowerLabs line.
PowerLabs is a line of Power Bars that Barbell created to meet the needs of athletes in sports like swimming, cycling, weightlifting and rowing.
The brand has been popular with the elite athletes since it launched in 2004.
The PowerLab line includes PowerLax, PowerLix, PowerBar and Power Bar Flex.
Barb’s PowerLaps line is the largest and most popular Power Bar line, and the brand has had a big impact on sportswear brands including Nike, Adidas and Under Armour.
Liquidators founder Chris Mabey, said in a statement the deal would create an innovative brand in Australia and around the world.
“We believe in Barbell as a brand, and we’re excited about working with Liquidators to create an exciting new partnership,” he said.
Liquidations first barbell product was the PowerBar PowerLamp.
It’s not the first time Barbell has been linked to Liquidators, as the company has been involved in various business ventures, including the launch of a food truck, a range of bars and accessories, and Barbell PowerLamps.
Liquidation’s barbells have also been on the market in Asia and the US for years.
The company is currently based in Sydney and Melbourne.
